LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - It's been perceived that an exchange of words between Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and a former teammate, new Vikings wide receiver Greg Jennings, has become more personal.

Rodgers' teammate, linebacker A.J. Hawk, says he hopes to make his impact on the growing rivalry, but in a more physical way.

"Of course.  I can't wait for Greg to come across the middle," said Hawk in an exclusive interview with TODAY'S TMJ4's Jessie Garcia.  Hawk is in Lake Tahoe for the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament.

"Greg knows I've joked around with him about it.  It's going to be fun.  I finally get to tackle Greg.  I (got) to mess with him in practice and punch at him and jab at him at different times, and now we actually get to hit him.  Greg's a physical guy, so I think he's going to try to bring it to me as well."

Jennings has recently said that he feels like the Vikings' 2013 edition has a similar hunger in the locker room that the world champion 2010 Packers had, but his most recent seasons in Green Bay revealed a not-so-powerful hunger.

"I did not hear his comments, but if that's how he feels, I'm glad he feels positive about where he's at," Hawk told Jessie.

"He's an amazing player, but I think our locker room looks really good right now."

The two teams battle each other on October 27 and November 24.
