Packers LB Jones on defense: 'We're going to get this right'
GREEN BAY - It's a painful fact for fans that the Green Bay Packers are 0-3 in games without QB Aaron Rodgers this year.
But fans are also quick to point out that Aaron Rodgers doesn't play on the defensive side of the ball - the Packers have now given up 81 points to opponents in those same three outings.
Appearing on The Mike McCarthy Show Tuesday evening, Packers ILB Brad Jones answered questions about the defense's mentality.
"I don't think anyone's skipping a beat," Jones explained. "At least the mentality on defense is 'We're going to get this thing right.'"
Jones made a point of adding that his teammates are actively looking for a way to keep opposing offenses in check.
"I think... especially in these past three weeks, we're trying to look inward, and figure out exactly how to get this thing back rolling."
Jones and the Packers defense will get their next shot this Sunday at Lambeau Field against the Minnesota Vikings.
