Is Rodgers' rank of 11th best NFL player reasonable?

By Matt Trebby. CREATED Jul 3, 2014

Last season, when the NFL Network did its annual countdown of the 100 best players in the league, Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers was on top of the list.

There were few that felt they could argue with the decision, which is allegedly voted on by NFL players. Rodgers has been a regular season MVP, and also was the MVP of Super Bowl XLV when the Packers beat the Steelers.

Rodgers' numbers are only rivaled by those of Peyton Manning at the quarterback position, as he has been one of the best in the league since taking over for Brett Favre.

On Wednesday night, the NFL Network revealed that Rodgers was voted as the 11th best player this year. Obviously, it was not met well by Packers fans, and many who cover the NFL:

Greg and Jeff discussed the controversial result of the list on Thursday's Sports Central, asking whether Rodgers is closer to being the best or the 11th best.
