GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -- Tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh, Michael Ratterree launched a 2-1 pitch from Lee to right-center, allowing Johnny Davis to score and put the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers up 3-2. However, in the top of the eighth, the Quad Cities River Bandits turned the tide of the game.
Marc Wik's single to left plated Holberton with the tying run, followed soon after by Fernandez. Brett Phillips added to the lead with a two-run triple to right-center. Dayne Parker capped the inning with a sacrifice fly and the Bandits were up 7-3. They padded their lead in the top of the ninth, with a single by Wik to get Holberton home, followed by a two-run homer by Rodriguez, his first of the season. Dustin DeMuth hit a single up the middle to bring in two more runs, but it wasn't enough for the Rattlers to come back.
The River Bandits win, 10-5.
