STORM ALERT: WINTER STORM WARNING

The day will start mild and soggy, but end windy, colder, and snowy.  Rain will transition to snow at some point this afternoon.  The timing of the snow sets up a very tough evening commute.  Most of northeast Wisconsin will see this transition between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. The Lakeshore will probably not change over to snow until after sunset.  Snow should then continue through the night.  Most of the area will pick up 3-6" of snow by tomorrow morning, with lighter amounts far north and along the lakeshore.  Winds will also pick up from the Northwest tonight, gusting over 30 mph.

A few flurries may linger into tomorrow morning.  A west wind will continue to gust up to 30 mph.  Highs tomorrow will probably struggle to reach 30 degrees.  There is a slight chance for light snow Wednesday night and Thanksgiving morning, but shouldn't be a big deal.
