In a continuation of their apparent quest for world media domination, the once obscure Norwegian comedy duo Ylvis now has a New York Times best-seller on its hands.
The children's book version of their viral video hit "The Fox (What Does The Fox Say?)" debuted at No. 1 on The New York Times' Best Sellers List for Children's Books, Billboard confirms.
The Simon & Schuster-published book, already in its sixth printing since its Dec. 10 release, includes the lyrics to "The Fox" along with illustrations from Norwegian artist Svein Nyuhus.
The song upon which the the book is based reached No. 6 in the U.S. on Billboard's Hot 100 chart after its late summer release. The music video has been viewed nearly 300 million times on YouTube.
