Captain America was looking for pop star Katy Perry at the Kennedy compound? It sounds like a bizarre dream, but it actually happened last night in real life. Sort of.
James Lacroix, 53, broke into the Kennedy compound in Barnstable, Massachusetts, on Tuesday night, and when found by police, he said that he was "Looking for Katy Perry," reports CNN. Oh, and he was wearing a Captain America tee-shirt at the time.
"Officers went to the house in the village of Hyannis Port after receiving a call from Ted Kennedy Jr., who said he had phoned the property from his home in Connecticut to check on his teenage son and a stranger answered," CNN explains.
Both Lacroix and the teenager were found in the kitchen by police. The teenager was unharmed, however, Lacroix had reportedly been there for an estimated three hours before officers arrived.
Lacroix will be arraigned Wednesday morning in Barnstable District Court. He was charged with breaking and entering.
