John Travolta breaks silence, addresses Oscars flub

It is safe to say that everyone now knows "Frozen" actress Idina Menzel's name. However, on the night of the 2014 Oscars, one very famous person in particular did not.

According to Entertainment Weekly, John Travolta has officially broken his silence and penned a written statement acknowledging the gaffe: “I’ve been beating myself up all day. Then I thought… what would Idina Menzel say? She’d say, ‘Let it go, let it go!’ Idina is incredibly talented and I am so happy 'Frozen' took home two Oscars Sunday night!”

Travolta took the Academy Awards stage to announce Menzel's performance of the Oscar-award winning song, "Let it Go." Yet, when he went to say her name, he flubbed his lines and renamed her "Adela Dazeem."

Multiple fake Twitter accounts have since opened for variations of Menzel's name and "John Travolta Name Generators" continue to buzz around the web offering to Travolta-ize your name in seconds.

So, the question now is, are we too ready to "let it go?"
