There is more legal trouble brewing for boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr.

According to the Los Angeles Times, he is being sued by his former fiancee. Shantel Jackson is seeking damages and alleging invasion of privacy, assault, battery and defamation.

The civil lawsuit also claims that "Miss Jackson," as she was referred to by Mayweather during their relationship, was falsely imprisoned.

Mayweather, who is currently training for a Sept. 13 fight at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, has not yet commented on the lawsuit that was filed Thursday afternoon.

Jackson and Mayweather met in Atlanta in 2006. She later moved in with him in Las Vegas.

Jackson says Mayweather assaulted her two times and also claims she was forced to stay in his home and could only leave when accompanied by one of the boxer's employees.

The lawsuit also says that Mayweather inflicted emotional torture upon Jackson after learning that she was pregnant with twins in December 2013. The pregnancy terminated in January.

Mayweather allegedly tweeted in May that their relationship ended because Jackson had an abortion and he was "totally against killing babies."

This is not the first time that Mayweather has had trouble with a girlfriend. He spent 60 days in jail in 2012 on a domestic battery charge resulting from a fight with the mother of three of his children.
