Ted Thompson May Make You Nervous, But He's One of the Best

It takes one to know one. Bill Polian was the brains behind the Colts long run of success, 7 straight seasons of at least 12 wins, and today he named the top six personnel evaluators in the NFL.
Among them, Ted Thompson. While the Packer Nation tends to get nervous when other teams are hitting the free agent market, those in the know, know Thompson's one of the best in the business.
In particular, Polian praises his drafting, the undrafted players he signs, and his ability to identify big-time play-makers.
Polian also notes that Thompson is quote, impervious, to the noise around him.
It may be tempting to make it at times, but the Packers have made the playoffs in each of the last four seasons, and five of the last six, The only NFC team to do so.
