Winning teams find a way to win, losing teams do not.
The Packers certainly had their share of warts in the Lions game, but with said game on the line, it was a much different story.
Green Bay, down 20-to-14, gets the ball with 4-25 left in regulation.
The Packers drive starts with an 11 yard run, James Starks' longest of the afternoon.
Two plays later, Aaron Rodgers throws short to Jermichael Finley, but thanks to blocks by Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson, and running through a couple of tacklers on his own, Finley winds up going 40 yards, the Packers most productive play all day
Three plays later, Rodgers, who's now enjoying the most consistent protection he's had all day, finds Cobb in the endzone, who, despite one defender grabbing his arm, and another closing fast, makes the catch for the Packers biggest play of the day.
The Lions did have time for one legitimate crack at a comeback, but on that possession, they netted a negative five yards against the green bay defense.
Often times games boil down to a handful of plays, and it was the Packers making them yesterday. Says a lot about their team.
