GREEN BAY - The Wisconsin State Patrol is teaming up with convenience stores to help urge deer hunters to drive sober this season.
The DOT is supplying more than 150 gas pump toppers that warn of the dangers of drinking and driving. Officers say it's a simple reminder that could save someone's life.
"As deer hunters will go out and celebrate their trophy buck or whatever, we want to remind them you need to choose a designated driver before you start celebrating," said Doug Kellner with Wisconsin State Patrol.
The posters will be placed at gas stations throughout the state and will remain in place throughout hunting season.
