OSHKOSH, WI - Talk about some tough competition! Nearly twenty thousand people giving everything they have in the Tough Mudder in Oshkosh.
The course includes obstacles such as mud crawls, rope swings and jolts of electricity. Mercy Medical Center has extra staff on duty today and event organizers will have water stations throughout the course along with their own healthcare providers.
Nick Bodkins, the general manager of Tough Mudder says "they're here to get dirty, they're here to get muddy, and what it actually ends up doing is adding to the course a little bit more. You'll see a lot of muddy faces coming into the base area, but most of them are all smiling."
Oshkosh police and fire departments are on scene in case anything should happen as well.
