Threats Anger Fond du Lac County Community of Waupun
WAUPUN, Wis. -- Waupun police say they will prosecute whoever is responsible for a string of bomb threats to the fullest extent of the law.
Police and firefighters have responded to ten bomb threats within a span of 40 hours.
Waupun Deputy Chief Scott Louden said police have subpoenaed phone records and believe they now have a person of interest.
The bomb threats began evening with one of the latest affecting Waupun High School. The school was swept by local authorities and cleared, but parents have been given the option to send there children to school today or keep them home. A $200 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible.
