GREEN BAY,WI- Football fever has hit Titletown. More than 13,000 packed the stands of Lambeau Field and another 11,000 watched online for the annual shareholders meeting today.
They're celebrating the start of another Packers season and getting a progress report on the recent success of the organization.
Mark Murphy and Ted Thompson giving the fans a look into the future. The organization bringing in 54 million dollars in operational profits this past year.
"The organization is in sound financial shape and positioned well for the future, not only financially but on the field as well," says Packer President and CEO Mark Murphy.
Fans taking in the new south end zone that cost 143 million dollars making Lambeau Field the third largest stadium in the NFL.
"Looks like it's going to generate a lot of money. Fits well into the whole concept with the new and old type look," says stockholder Mike Ciezadlo
With the meeting now over fans ready for football and possibly another record breaking year.
