GREEN BAY -- We're just a few weeks away from school starting up again and today was School Safety Day at the Children's Museum in Green Bay.
The museum doing its part today to help kids stay safe on their way to and at school. Bus safety, correct backpack carrying, stranger danger, and healthy lunches were all on the menu for today.
"I think that a lot of families are really focused on getting the school supplies and all of that, but it's also a great time to focus on safety and health issues as well," says Program Manager Gina Anderson.
Anderson says that now is a great time to go over safety rules and guidelines so that kids can kick off the school year safe and healthy.
