Road Closures for Monday, Sept. 23-Thursday, September 26

GREEN BAY -- The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is announcing overnight road closures for parts of US 41.
The areas will be closed for four nights this week, Monday, Sept. 23 through Thursday, September 26. This will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Crews will be demolishing the Hanson Road Bridge.
US 41 closure location and detours:
-Northbound US 41 will be closed between the off-ramp to Ashland Ave. and the on-ramp from westbound WIS 172. Northbound US 41 will be detoured off at Ashland Ave, follow Ashland Ave. north to Pilgrim Way, Pilgrim Way west to the WIS 172 westbound entrance ramp, and WIS 172 west to US 41 north.
-Southbound US 41 will be closed between the off-ramp to WIS 172 and the on-ramp from Oneida Street. Southbound US 41 will be detoured off at WIS 172, WIS 172 eastbound to Vanderperren Way, Vanderperren east to Ashland Ave. and follow Ashland Ave south to US 41 South.
There are also closures on Southbound U.S. 41:
-Eastbound WIS 172 traffic seeking southbound US 41 will exit at Vanderperren Way, Vanderperren east to Ashland Ave. and follow Ashland Ave. south to US 41 southbound.
-Westbound WIS 172 seeking southbound US 41 will be detoured off at Pilgrim way, Pilgrim east to Ashland Ave. and follow Ashland south to US 41.
The northbound US 41 on-ramps from County G and Oneida Street will also be closed nightly during the time period.
Residents in the area of the bridge demolition could experience some loud noise and bright lights during the four night demolition. The bridge is expected to be re-opened in August 2014.
