LITTLE CHUTE-- Dozens took to the roads Thursday Night, to pay tribute for a man killed in Appleton by a hit and run driver....

It's to honor 61 year old Robert Joosten who was killed while on his bike Saturday night.

Members of the Fox Cities Cycling Association ended their five mile ride outside the funeral home.

Robert Joosten was supposed to be a routine ride home from work, but it ended tragically when Joosten was struck and killed.
Shortly after the incident, police released photos of both a vehicle and a person of interest in the case.

As of Thursday night, there were no arrests.

"It seems as though we are honing in on thing..The tips are getting better and more frequent...So I'm pretty confident that we'll come up with the person that we need to", says Sgt. Dave Lund, Appleton Police Department.

Thursday night's was organized to pay tribute, and to raise awareness of cyclists right to share the road.

Many in the group also make their daily commutes to and from work.

"Whether you're driving a car, walking, riding a motorcycle,  riding a bike...Just ask everyone out there to please be aware of each other... And look out for each other", adds FCCA president Rob Gusky.

The route taken by the cyclists tonight was the same route Joosten too to work for yeasr every day he rode his bike to work.
