Town of Angelica, WI -- Each year in the U.S., about 2,500 babies die from sudden infant death syndrome. On Saturday, a Northeast Wisconsin family, who endured the pain of losing their little boy, held a 100 mile motorcycle ride around the Shawano area in honor of little Zander. The money raised goes to support other families who've lost children to SIDS and fund life saving research.
"Every year, I'm amazed at the amount of donations that we receive and how many people come out and still buy tickets every year to help us out with this," said ride organizer Abby Benzschawel.
The Ride for Zander raised $11,000 in its first two years.
