Remembering the Oak Creek Tragedy

MENASHA, WI- An emotional night as more than 50 people gather to heal from tragedy. Just over one year ago today, a white supremacist opened fire at a Sikh Temple, killing six people. Tonight people coming together at the temple in Menasha to remember those lives lost. What members of the temple say is most important about tonight is people of all religions coming together.
"It gives us hope that as a nation we can fight this hatred and violence and abolish it with the peace and love," says Kamaljit Paul.
"We appreciate a lot of people coming from different religions and different faith and we get together and that means we are not only one," says Bhagwant Balli.
The temple is holding open prayer every Sunday during August to heal from the shootings.
