Green Bay--People in Northeast Wisconsin are responding to President Obama's decision to take military acttion against Syria. Some people think it's a mistake, while others feel it's our duty.
Fear, anger and confusion hits people as they decide how they feel about the situation. Many are shocked by President Obama's announcement and the opinions are split.
A political consultant from Green Bay says this action will divide Northeast Wisconsin just like it will divide the entire country.
"There is the anti-war people who say we should stay out of other countries," said Morrison, "and there are those who feel we have an obligation to solve all the problems of other countries."
Some are doubting our leaders choice saying they think it's a mistake. Others say we don't have a choice and it is our humanitarian duty to help others.
Either way, Morrison said no matter what we do, people will be unhappy.
Morrison also said this situation is going to create political fire in the 2014 elections based on who takes which side.
