Long-Distance Motorcycle Ride for Freedom House

CREATED Sep. 5, 2013

GREEN BAY -- A group of motorcyclists hitting the open road to raise money for a Green Bay homeless shelter.

The 4 Corners 4 Freedom House motorcycle run kicks off this Saturday in Green Bay. The riders will cover 10,000 miles over 14 days through 28 states and 12 time zone changes.

"We're doing this to raise awareness and raise funds for the Freedom House. Freedom House is a wonderful, wonderful homeless shelter for persons with families," says rider Kevin Platkowski.

"There's always a safety issue that goes with driving this long, but we'll make it. We're pretty safe and we've been preparing for a long time on this," says rider Ben Buehler.

Buehler's company will be matchin donations on Friday September 6th up to $2500.
