Berlin Middle School Referendum Passes

BERLIN -- Tonight, voters in the Berlin School District approved a referendum to build a new middle school.
The district plans to add the new building next to the current high school. It will cost $18.7 million dollars to build. Preliminary results show 913 "yes" votes and 283 "no" votes. Absentee ballots are due this Friday and the Board of Canvassers will verify all the results next Tuesday. With the current results, the referendum passes.
