GREEN BAY - The Cellcom Green Bay Marathon is making a difference for three local non-profits.
Wednesday, marathon organizers distributed funds raised during this year's race to Junior Achievement of Brown County, UNITY, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northeast Wisconsin.
"A lot more classrooms in Brown County will have our programs. We've been increasing our programs. I think the first year we were involved with the marathon we increased our programming -- I think we added 56 classrooms. So each year, we've been adding more and more," said Junior Achievement program manager Jennifer Maier.
The marathon also donated money to the Prevea Love to Run program and the Boston One Fund for victims of the marathon bombings.
