GREEN BAY-- Often times, police are the first to arrive on scene when there is an emergency. Many times, officers do not have the medical equipment needed to stabilize an injured victim before paramedics can arrive. But that is about to change. Green Bay police are being trained on how to use individual first aid kits.
Each kits weighs about one pound and fits easily into a pocket on the officer's cargo pants. Prevea Health of Green Bay is providing the kits for the police department.
