GREEN BAY - A group of Green Bay leaders held a rally Thursday calling for federal action in a response to climate change.
The group included Senator Dave Hansen, who says the goal is to leave behind a cleaner, safer world for future generations.
"There are ways and alternatives, and we have to educate the public to let them know that climate change is real, and we must take action. Today is about taking action," he said.
Hansen says failing to act now could lead to dangerous heat waves and declining air quality in the future.
