GREEN BAY -- Flu season doesn't usually arrive until November, but doctors say it's not too early to start protecting yourself and your children.
The Brown County Health Department says Back to School is the perfect time to start thinking about getting kids their flu shots.
"The flu in itself is a miserable virus to get and it can obviously make you feel bad. And having the vaccine will help keep people healthy, keep them in school, and keep them at work," says Dr. Ashok Rai, President and CEO of Prevea Health.
This year's flu vaccine will proect against four strains of the virus expected to circulate this fall.
