GREEN BAY - Wisconsin is taking part in a national campaign to crack down on drunk driving.
Officers from all throughout the state are taking part in an initiative called Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over.
Last year, alcohol-related crashes killed 223 people in Wisconsin alone.
"Stop killing our loved ones with your selfish decisions in terms of drinking and driving, do the right thing, drink responsibly, use a taxi, use a designated driver, and get to and from where you're going safely," said Mike Panosh with Wisconsin State Patrol.
The campaign runs through Labor Day weekend.
