Green Bay, WI-- The public was able to sit in on a special meeting Monday night to see first-hand the US 41 and I-43 projects that are underway.
Leaders showed their plans for the road construction for the rest of this year and the next.
"All this work when it's done will increase the capacity of Highway 41 and eliminate problems where there have been a lot of crashes. It certainly will ease the congestion and make for a safer highway," said Michael King, Highway 41 Construction Supervisor.
Construction work on the U.S. 41 project will span more than 14 miles.
