WISCONSIN - The Wisconsin DNR is warning swimmers and boaters to be on the lookout for blue-green algae.
The warm, summer weather has created a perfect breeding ground for the algae. The blooms can produce toxins in the water that can make people and their pets sick.
Experts say the algae is especially bad on Little Lake Butte des Morts and the northern shore of Lake Winnebago.
