BELLEVUE, Wis.- A hot summer day is perfect for a hot chili cook off in Bellevue. This is the 31st year for the East Town Optimist cook off. There are 11 contestants creating their recipes and squaring off against each other.
All proceeds stay in the community and fund children's events and programs.
"Heck of a lot of fun and all of the money we raise goes directly back into the community. Bellevue and east side of Green Bay so whatever you spend here is given right back," said East Bellevue Optimist Club President, Tom Deer
This year the optimist club wants to build wooden tree box libraries and place them around the area.
