GREEN BAY - The Kroc Center has obtained the required licensing to provide day camp care to children ages five to twelve.
On July 12, The Kroc Center was informed by the Wisconsin Department of Children and Families that it had to discontinue offering its summer day camp program, Kroc Kamp, to children under the age of seven. Since then, the directors and staff of Kroc Kamp have been working diligently with State licensing authorities to obtain the required license.
The Kroc Center, following an inspection from the State, received the required State Day Camp licensing on Friday, August 2nd and is welcoming 5 and 6 year olds back to Kroc Kamp today.
With three weeks still remaining in the camp, there is still plenty of time to enjoy all of the arts, education and recreation the camp has to offer. With the new licensing, it is required that revised intake paperwork is completed and returned to Kroc Kamp staff for all participating children, to include emergency contact, health history and immunization records, prior to the children’s participation in the program.
