APPLETON, Wis.- Lots of people took in some beautiful art Sunday at the 54th Annual Art in the Park event in Appleton.
The Trout Museum hosts the summer classic. This year there are more than 175 artists from 8 different states who have their work on display and for sale. There are also awards given out to the best in show and the best 2D and 3D art.
" Watching the community participate more and more in the event, whether they are an artist exhibiting their work or a food vendor coming to do the food or just people coming to enjoy the entire event," said Fox Cities President, Pamela Williams-Lime.
There is also an 18-foot paper-mache of Dr. Suess at the event, which was the inspiration for the festival.
