Child Enticement Report in Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, WI- Parents in Oshkosh on high alert tonight.. Stunned to hear of a possible child enticement case. Police say the incident happened yesterday in the 1100 block of west 7th Avenue when a nine year old boy was walking to school authorities say a man tried to lure the child into his car.
"Always been a fear of mine," says parent Rochelle Bloedow.
"The more I hear about it, the more i just want to home school my kids," says parent Erin Harris.
The incident happening just blocks away from Franklin Elementary, a school with more than 400 students. luckily the child told officers he ignored the stranger. Oshkosh Police now investigating saying these reports come in once or twice a year. Officers asking parents to walk their children to school., but if that's not possible, kids need to be prepared.
"Yell, scream, yell no.Yell stop. Get the attention of someone else. Yell for help," says Officer Joe Nichols with the Oshkosh Police Department.
The suspect is described as a 50 year old black male with rectangular glasses. Officers say he's driving a four door tan car. If you have information, call Oshkosh police.
