HORTONVILLE, WI- Village leaders in Hortonville say there's still plenty of work to do three weeks after the August seventh tornadoes. Even with the majority of the debris picked up many houses remain damaged and tree service companies are working overtime to help keep people safe.
Treeo's Tree Service has been working non-stop since the storm. Bringing trees down for more than three hundred homes in Hortonville. Booked out for the next six months.
"It's crazy. We've been running twelve to sixteen hours a day seven days a week. The Sundays are getting a little old," says Treeo's Tree Service Owner Mark Caswell.
Village leaders dealing with their own damage, properties such as parks and public works areas.
"Repairs to address on our village owned properties and we'll be working with our insurance companies and looking to get those things done over the next few months," says Village President Andrew Gitter.
Tomorrow village leaders will meet with a state representative and come up with a final damage assessment on the town.
