GREEN BAY, WI - One of the largest 9-11 memorial stair climbs held today at Lambeau field.
The event is hosted by Pierce Manufacturing and everyone in attendance is encouraged to climb the equivalent of 110 stories, the height of the fallen World Trade Center towers.
Each climber is given a badge, with the name and photo of one of the fallen firefighters to symbolically complete the climb with one who couldn't.
Jim Johnson, the President of Pierce Manufacturing says "Pierce, as a manufacturer of firetrucks, we think it's critical that we support the families of those who have fallen and who have sadly lost their lives in their line of duty."
Events like this have been taking place for more than a decade since September 11th, but this is the first for Pierce and Lambeau field.
