Local neonatal doctor dies in ambulance crash
ROSENDALE, WI -- A local doctor has died from his injuries after the ambulance he was riding in crashed in Fond Du Lac county.
Dr. Stanley Phillips was working as a neonatal physician on the ambulance on Wednesday, when it flipped over on Highway 26 near Rosendale.
Phillips and the team were on their way to pick up a baby in Appleton.
He worked at the Meriter Hospital, less than a month.
