Mud Problems at Country USA

Oshkosh, WI -- It's day one of Country USA in Oshkosh. The five day music festival is expected to break attendance records but some of the first campers to arrive Tuesday morning were slowed down by the weather. The overnight rain created a muddy mess in some parts of the campgrounds. Several campers and cars had to get pulled out. No injuries were reported but the mud did slow down traffic moving in. About an hour before the grounds opened, it was only half full. Winnebago County sheriff's deputies as well as festival staff helped people get in and get to their spots safely before the afternoon rush. Crews laid down wood chips and will put more down if problems persist.
