CLINTONVILLE - A rally was held in Clintonville Thursday by parents who say they're tired of inappropriate activity in their local park.
Parents say lately, they've been having problems with the park being used as a place for teens and young adults to loiter, swear and smoke. Now, they're working to form a "Park Watch Group" in hopes of making the area a safer place for kids to play.
"We're hoping that the kids will just kind of take our example, because they're an example to our kids, too. So, we're looking for respect," said Laura Wilber, who helped organize the rally.
Parents say they plan to continue meeting throughout the coming months.
