ATF Offers Reward in Brown County Gun Theft
NEW FRANKEN, Wis. -- The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has offered a $5,000 reward for information that would lead to solving a gun theft crime in New Franken.
Nearly 20 handguns were reportedly stolen from Virlee Gunworks on May 28th. Investigators say the suspect(s) drove a blue 1996-2000 Dodge Caravan. According to ATF investigators, the minivan hit a mailbox post while leaving the scene and may have damage on the passenger side.
The ATF is working on this case along with the Brown County Sheriff's Department.
