GREEN BAY -- Students at a Green Bay elementary school got to chat online with students from three other schools on the east coast today.
It's all part of a national "show and tell" for the White House, showcasing how technology is enhancing education. Chappell Elementary was chosend because they were up for a state award for their use of technology in the classroom.
Marie Sauvey, a teacher at Chappell, says, "When the White House contacted our State Department of Public Instruction, they gave them our contact information and so that was how we have been recognized for some of our technology innovations in the building."
Students from Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and North Carolina were part of the group chat session this afternoon. President Obama visited with the students in North Carolina before the group chat began.
