APPLETON -- Volunteers in Northeast Wisconsin are lending a helping hand to victims of the devastating tornado in Oklahoma.
Two Appleton women came together and encouraged their community to help them fill a semi-trailer with donations. There was such an out-pouring of support that the women had to stop filling the truck because it's almost full.
"They're getting hit again in Oklahoma so they definitely need our help. I mean I've gotten donations from kids clothes, baby food, formula, canned food, water, we just need everything," said donation drive organizer Stacy Braatz.
The organizers are now looking into getting a second truck to fill with pallets of dry food. They hope to have the first truck ready to leave for Oklahoma by tomorrow.
