NEENAH -- Packers players paid a surprise visit to some sick children in Neenah today to help kick off the 2013 Tailgate Tour.
They got to do a craft project with about 30 kids who are either hospitalized as well as some who are outpatients receiving treatment. Many say, it's an experience they'll never forget.
One little boy said, "I never thought I would actually get to meet more than one Packer, like getting signatures at the store, but actually getting to talk to them, that was a real treat."
Former Packers Guard Aaron Taylor, who is on the tour, said today, "It's just a real good reminder of what we do. We get to play a game for a living or at one point in our lives, but what really makes what we're able to do so special. The impact we're able to have not only in the lives of other people, but the impact of what happens in our lives as well.
The Tour made two other surprise stops today, one at Denmark High School, the other at Nestle Pizza in Neenah.
