Green Bay Police Investigate Two Armed Robberies

GREEN BAY, WI --Green Bay Police are investigating two separate armed robberies at local businesses overnight.

At approximately 10 PM officers responded to an armed robbery at Terry's E-Z Go at 401 Mather Street.

The male suspect entered the store, showed a gun and demanded money. Police say he is described as a black male wearing dark clothing with a white scarf covering his face.

He fled the store on foot and was found a few block away trying to hide near a garage. A gun matching the description of the one in his posession and other items including a bag of money were found nearby.

Later, at approximately 10:17 PM, while officers were investigating the earlier armed robbery on Mather Street, Green Bay Police received a report of another armed robbery at the U Pump Citgo, at 1233 Velp Avenue.
The male suspect displayed a knife, and demanded money. Police say suspect was described as a white male in his twenties, approximately 5’6” tall with a medium build, “dirty blonde” hair, a “greasy complexion”, and wearing a tan jacket over a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.The male was also wearing a multi colored red and gray baseball cap with a straight brim. The male left the store with an undetermined amount of money.

At this time, this case does not appear to be related to the earlier armed robbery.
