GREEN BAY - If you thought Green Bay looked a little bit brighter today, there's a reason!
Friday marked the sixth-annual Wear Yellow Day. It was created to help take a stand against caner. The campaign was started by a group of Preble High School students and staff who say by wearing yellow, the community shows compassion for those suffering from the disease.
"Right now, my brother is going through a battle with cancer, so I'm wearing yellow today to support him, and so are many other people in the school," said Brett Sengkhammee, a sophomore at Preble.
All proceeds from Preble's yellow t-shirt fundraiser will go to purchase gift cards and baskets for cancer patients.
