GREEN BAY, WI -- Packers safety M.D. Jennings helping kids get healthy at the YMCA's "Healthy Kids Day" taking place at Shopko Hall this afternoon.
There were activities for kids to improve their health and have fun while doing it. Jennings lead the children through stretches and drills and then signed some autographs.
Sherri Valitchka, the Director of Marketing and Communications for Greater Green Bay YMCA says "the YMCA does this event in hopes of getting a jump on summer of keeping being active and being healthy at the forefront of your mind. It shows that being active is really fun and to incorporate it into everyday living, not just today."
The YMCA wants people to know kids typically gain weight in the summer months when out of school. Today was all about staying active through that time.
