GREEN BAY - Green Bay police have shut down a suspected drug house on the city's west side.
Officers say they received a court order to close the house at 886 Waverly Place The home is being declared a "public nuisance" for drug-related activity.
Neighbors say they feel safer knowing the house has been shut down.
"I have grandkids and I have kids, and I don't want them to be anywhere involved in that -- and we're trying to watch out for everybody around here. You want to make it safe for our kids," said Gordon Crevier, who lives in the neighborhood.
If the homeowners are convicted, the court could have the property seized and auctioned.
