MARINETTE, Wis. -- Marinette County prosecutors have officially charged Brent Kaempf with first degree intentional homicide in connection with the death of Patricia Waschbisch.
A criminal complaint, released Wednesday afternoon, outlines the case against Kaempf. Details include where the crime happened and the weapons used to kill the director of Rainbow House, a domestic violence center, last weekend.
The document shows Waschbisch's 13-year-old daughter discovered her Mother's body in the bathroom of their Peshtigo home early Sunday morning.
According to prosecutors, Kaempf admitted to killing Waschbisch during questioning in the Milwaukee County Jail. He reportedly left the area after the crime and was picked up in Wauwatosa as a 'person of interest' early in the investigation.
