GREEN BAY, WI- Former UWGB basketball player Ryan Bross has gone public with his accusations against coach Brian Wardle.
In an interview with the Green Bay Press Gazette, Bross accuses Wardle of using vulgar langauge and homophobic slurs.
Students were again shocked to hear more developments on the Wardle investigation, but local attorneys say this new information could have an impact on the investigation as well.
Former player Ryan Bross has now gone public telling the Green Bay Press Gazette the coach called him several derogatory slurs.
He says the coach also ran him in practice to the point where he lost control of his bowels.
In response, Wardle issued this statement to the press gazette saying quote, "I fully expect the eyewitnesses to these allegations you are reporting will contradict the version you are reporting."
"That could have a tremendous impact."
Attorney Luca Fagundes who is not involved in the case says this new information could be detrimental to the investigation, especially if what bross said is untrue.
"If it counters what he's coming out with in his investigation then there's going to be questions here," says Fagundes.
Students at UWGB say the details are shocking. Some say they've heard of Wardle verbally abusing his players, but never physically.
"I don't think that any professional should be able to manipulate and abuse his power," says Kristin Maiermerz
"There's a certain line you can cross between, i mean being a tough coach and kind of ridiculing a player and being too over that line," says Brady Gaab.
The university chose not too comment on the investigation.
