Two Face Child Trafficking and Prostitution Charges in Outagamie County

GRAND CHUTE, Wis. -- Two people from the Milwaukee area face charges of child trafficking and prostitution following their arrests in Grand Chute.
Police say Novya Southern, 19, and Udalius McCloud, 32, were picked up and booked into the Outagamie County Jail. Both made initial court appearances earlier this week.
According to the Appleton Police Department, an informant notified officers a prostitute was working with an underage teen at a Grand Chute hotel. Officers with the Grand Chute and Appleton police departments worked with the Outagamie Sheriff's department on a sting operation to make the arrests.
UPDATE: Police have been cracking down on prostitution in the Fox Valley, making hundreds of arrests since 2011. But the problem isn't going away, police say area have become a red light district in recent years.
